Glazed stoneware

Studio Himalaya · Switzerland
Sculptural ceramics by Shristi Shrestha Demougeot. Singular forms, shaped slowly in stoneware and porcelain.
01 / Selected encounters
Organic movement. Unexpected surfaces.
Each work holds a world of its own.
02 / The language of clay
Each piece begins with an encounter between material and intuition. Through a slow, attentive process, clay takes shape in response to its own possibilities.
Subtle asymmetries, organic movement, and natural surfaces preserve the traces of this exchange.

03 / The artist behind the forms
Shristi Shrestha Demougeot
Born in Nepal, a French national, and based in Switzerland, Shristi brings a sensitivity to place and memory to the language of clay.
Mountains, soil, and mineral traces find an echo in her surfaces. Every form is an encounter between the earth, the hand, and an intuitive way of seeing.
